Fishing Event on Heath Lake, Rocky Mtn. Recreation Area, near Rome, GA

Drive north of Rome to Big Texas Valley Rd. NW.

From Big Texas Valley Rd, turn SOUTH on Angler's Haven Rd. Pay the $5 (cash) parking fee per vehicle at the entrance kiosk.

Drive less than 1/2 mile toward the Boat Launch.

BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR, FOOD, and BEVERAGES. Alcohol is prohibited.

Bring your canoe, kayak, jon, inflatable, or fishing boat. This lake is a "Wake Free" lake. Motors are permitted at low speeds. There is an exsellent concerte boat launch with trailer parking.

STAY AS LONG AS YOU LIKE TO OR LEAVE WHEN NECESSARY.
