Phil Carter won the custom built cedar strip canoe built by Trout Unlimited members of the Coosa Valley Chapter. Phil is currently keeping the canoe in his basement "man cave" because "it is too pretty to get wet"

RACCOON CREEK WORKDAY - GREAT SUCCESS

21 TU MEMBERS JOINED DNR WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST BRENT WOMACK FOR A 3 HOUR WORKDAY AT THE CREEK.  BRUSH AND LIMBS WERE REMOVED FROM  THE TRAILS, RIPRAP WAS ADDED TO AREAS OF EROSION & BUCKETS AND BUCKETS OF CANS AND BOTTLES WERE REMOVED FROM A PORTION OF THE WOODS.  NEXT WINTER WHEN THE UNDERGROWTH [ READ MORE... ]
