GBTU October Meeting

Please join us on Thursday Oct. 13 from 6:30pm-9pm for our live, monthly meeting at The Miramar Bistro located at 301 Waukegan Avenue in Highwood, Illinois. It will also be on Zoom, for those remote attendees. Feel free to come early to take advantage of the fine dining at the Miramar. The Miramar's website is http://www.miramarbistro.com.

Our guest speaker this evening will be Jason Randall who is an author and avid fly angler. Jason has shared his knowledge of reading the water many times over the years with our members. Like myself, his insights have improved my fishing experience greatly. Jason's presentation for the evening is entitled: "10% of Anglers Catch 90% of the Trout, Reaching the 10%"

Come out early to start the event with a little social time prior to the presentation and have a chance to meet Jason!

Here's the order of events for the evening:

6:30 PM to 7:00 PM: Socialize over drinks or dinner, we will provide the appetizers   
7:00 PM to 7:30 PM: Chapter Business
7:30 PM to 8:30 PM: Presentation by our Guest which will also be recorded and shared via Zoom
8:30 PM to 9:00 PM: Q&A/Raffle/Wrap up

We encourage all members to attend the live events to get to know more about the Chapter and other members. It's a great way to learn about our upcoming activities, make new friends and fishing buddies! For those who cannot attend the presentation, it will be recorded and broadcast on Zoom.
