Protecting Our Headwaters and Trout Habitat." The presentation focuses on the importance of protecting our wild and native trout populations. Learn why headwater streams are important, as well as the current and potential impacts on the streams and the habitat surrounding them. We'll talk about the state's current stream assessment and designation process and Trout Unlimited's role in Pennsylvania's Unassessed Waters Initiative. The presentation also includes information on current legislative issues that affect fish and wildlife habitat, and how chapters can help with advocacy issues. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Monroe County Environmental Education Center, 8050 Running Valley Road, Bartonsville. The public is welcome to attend; there is no charge.
