Headwaters Women's Weekend

Friday, October 9th, 2015 - 7:00pm to Sunday, October 11th, 2015 - 12:00pm

Join Spokane Women on the Fly for a weekend in the Yakima's headwaters. Here's more information about the schedule. We are in need of volunteers to help with casting instruction (both single and two-handed spey and switch rods) and other program development. Interested? Contact Heather Hodson or leave a message here.

Beginning on Friday, October 9th at 7pm, join the Chapter and Spokane Women on the Fly for a social gathering at The Brick Saloon. Saturday morning will begin with a "Fly Fishing 101" session for all experience levels. This will be a classroom setting learning about entomology, gear, reading water, and having a plan for getting on the water. Then, join us for our second Crystal Creek Clean-Up in the afternoon to collect data and put your newly learned ecosystem knowledge into practice. Saturday evening will be a social event to be planned. Sunday morning anglers will have one of two tracks to follow - on the water casting and fishing with single-hand or two-handed rods. Learn to cast, present the fly, and improve your knowledge to catch & release wild fish on the Yakima. As we have lodging and other details, they will be posted here.

Join Spokane Women On The Fly and the Chapter for a Headwaters Women's Weekend!
