There is no cost to this event. Open to everyone Daniel W.Galhardo . is founder of Tenkara USA. Daniel learned the Tenkara style fly fishing in Japan from Tenkara Masters. He introduced those techniques in USA in 2009 In Tenkara; one just uses a rod, line and fly. A fixed length of line connects to the tip of the telescopic rod. Casting the fly to where you think the fish are very quick to learn and intuitive. It needs no floatant, no weight and no reels, yet continues catching fish. Daniel has developed a strong relationship with Tenkara masters in Japan, particularly Dr. Hisao Ishigaki, the most prominent Tenkara angler in Japan. He relies on their knowledge and feedback to ensure all products are of very high quality. No one in the US has come to know as much about Tenkara as he does. Daniel will also sign his new book “ Tenkara-the Book”, at the end of the event.
