The Poconos of PA - Cradle of American Trout Fishing

Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 - 7:00pm EST

Join the Brodhead Chapter Trout Unlimited in enjoying Don Baylor presenting "The Poconos of PA - Cradle of American Trout Fishing".  This program makes the case that the Poconos were at least as important as the Catskills in the history of American trout fishing and the development of American fly fishing techniques. It covers the notable anglers, destinations, and literature important to the development of American trout fishing tradition in the 1800’s and first half of the 1900’s

Mr. Baylor is a charter member and current director of the Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited whose accomplishments in biology, environmental advocacy, art, fly tying, and fishing are regionally renowned.
