Yakima River Headwaters TU April Meeting

Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 - 7:00pm PDT to Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 - 9:00pm PDT

Join us for the April meeting in the Headwaters of the Yakima, as we put the planning and execution phases of the Teanaway plan into action. We are planning to meet outside, in the Teanaway Community Forest, at the Middle Fork Campground. See the map below for directions. Please be prepared for weather, and if you'd like to camp out under the stars, make plans! We are working on an alternate location in the event of inclement weather.

Conservation Chair and TU Guide Nathanial Rowley will be leading an "angler science" day prior to the meeting, along with our WDFW partner and EAS sponsor Gabe Temple. We'll be visiting existing temperature monitoring sites and developing future sites for placement. This will be a limited RSVP event so please contact Nathanial directly (yrhtu090@gmail.com) to ensure you are on the list of participants.

At the April meeting, we'll cover Chapter business, including financial and membership updates. The Conservation Committee will be planning future work days and events.

Upcoming volunteer opportunities:

IFFF Fair in Ellensburg, WA. April 28th and 29th. Please RSVP at the April meeting, or via email. You may also contact the Chapter to volunteer via the Facebook page. We need volunteers to staff an informational booth about the Chapter and our activities in the Headwaters.
