Do you fish New Jersey's best wild trout stream?  If so, this is your place to relax, kick back, and discuss your time spent on this wonderful river.  The South Branch has 2 special trout conservation areas, the un-stocked Claremont Trout Conservation Area in Long Valley and the Ken Lockwood Gorge No-Kill below Califon and above High Bridge.  This river is teeming with wild brooks, browns and rainbows which all reproduce naturally in different areas of the watershed.  Its many tributaries also contribute lots of wild trout.
