A prolific, aquatic invasive species first discovered in Michigan last year on the Pere Marquette River near Lake Michigan has now been found in the east branch of the Au Sable River near Grayling. The EPA has approved the use of potash for a pilot Zebra Mussel control project on Christmas Lake in Minnesota.  If this successful, this technique could by utilized on medium and smaller water bodies to control this nasty aquatic invasive species.  TU AIS will monitor this program and report the [ READ MORE... ]
