This is a terrific event that is an effort by the Coosa Valley Chapter to thank all veterans for their sacrifices and service to our country.. We will have fly casting lessons for those vets that are interested in learning the basics of fly casting. After the "basics" are practiced on dry land, the veteran is encouraged to catch trout in the trout pond at Rolater Park. The Coosa Valley Chapter also invites the veterans and their family members to eat a hotdog lunch with us. There will also be drawings for "door prizes" for registered veterans. All of the fun, food, and prizes will be at no charge while quantities last.

Please spread the word! We would like to show our appreciation to as many veterans as possible.

If anyone (from any chapter) would like to donate their time and effort on June 28th, please come and help us. Bring a fly rod that can be used with your instruction. Please bring barbless flies. We can use your efforts starting before 8:30 am until about 1:00 pm.

The Coosa Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited hopes to see you in the crowd.
