Mill Creek Reconnect and Rehab Project

TU's goals is to reconnect Mill Creek to Big Creek, providing an additional 2 cfs base flow and 2,000 feet of reconstructed channel habitat for native fish, which are threatened by lack of healthy flows, sediment transport and refuge areas.

TU is working with the landowner/irrigator to eliminate Mill Creek interception at an existing ditch.  We will build approximately 1,000 feet of new channel through a pasture where the historic Mill Creek channel has been removed, while also rehabbing approximately 1,000 feet of existing channel on BLM land.
