I am senior science writer for The Nature Conservancy. I cover conservation research stories around the globe and run the Conservancy blog Cool Green Science (blog.nature.org/science). As a freelance writer, my work has appeared in Sports Afield, Bugle, National Geographic Online, Backcountry Journal and many other print and online publications. I am a former board member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America and have traveled to six continents in pursuit of wildlife and stories.
