Grew up fishing great streams in Michigan. Grandfather was TU founding member, who made split bamboo rods. Was in Air Force, so fished in many states, but mostly in Colorado. Lived in Durango for 28 years before moving to Loreto, Southern Baja, MX. Spend summers at son’s house in Del Norte and fish the Rio and high streams this side of the Pass. Of course this summer (2018), spent most of my time on the San Juan. Have about 600 fishing books.
