Born in Memphis Tennessee. Father was a Marine Corps fighter pilot. Lived all over the US until we settled in Fort Bragg, CA on the Mendocino coast. Moved to the Bay Area in 1979. Met my wife Jeanette in Albion, CA and got married in 1981. Spent my 35 year career in electronics in the Silicon Valley. Worked for GE, SGI and a number of other companies. Started my own consulting firm in San Francisco 2003 and sold it in 2012. Worked for the acquiring company until March 2015 then retired. We bought our TD cabin in 2012 and I convinced my wife to move here full time in June 2015. I am a hard core fly fisherman and really in to spey fishing for steelhead. I also like to play golf, mountain bike, cook and drink fine wine and whiskey. I grew up a die hard Giants and 49er fan and am trying to instill those allegiances on my 3 grandkids. I am a life member and staunch supporter of TU and the Truckee River Watershed. I am active in our local fly club as well with a passion for teaching the sport to our youth and building future generations of fly fishers who will take care of our Northern California waters. Life is good and I feel blessed to live here in the Sierra Nevada.
