Screen Shot 2016-06-01 at 12.42.27 PM.png As Trout Unlimited's flagship grassroots grants program, Embrace-a-Stream has been helping TU's chapters and councils take on projects on that protect clean water, restore fish habitat and sustain friendships across the country. Through our partnership with Sweetwater Brewing Co., anglers can now add enjoying an ice cold beer to the list of things they can do to make fishing better. As our friends at Sweetwater Brewing like to say, "You can’t make good beer without good water." This summer Sweetwater is standing behind its words with a matching grants program that will help elevate the profile for Embrace-a-Stream everywhere that their brews are sold. Sweetwater Brewing Co.'s 10th annual Save Our Water campaign is expanding this to include Trout Unlimited and three other partner organizations. Sweetwater will donate $100,000 and promote a matching funds effort, with the goal of raising an additional $100,000 to be shared by participating conservation nonprofits. Trout Unlimited’s Embrace-a-Stream program will be featured and promoted in a widespread marketing campaign everywhere Sweetwater products are sold from June through August. So, this summer, your time in the beer aisle at the local grocery store need not be as complicated as choosing your next fly pattern. Reach for a six pack of Sweetwater Brewing's finest and know that your choice is helping to support Trout Unlimited and the grassroots grants program that makes fishing better for everyone, everywhere. And while you're at it, make a donation to Embrace-a-Stream today and know that your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by the good folks at Sweetwater Brewing.
