Greetings Madmen Chapter of Trout Unlimited

Greetings Madmen Chapter of Trout Unlimited #477 members. The chapter achieved many things in 2013 including expanding the TIC program to more schools in the Mad River Watershed and providing Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) program opportunities and instruction to disabled veterans of the Columbus VA. Thanks to Don Dean coordinator of TIC and John Davis coordinator of PHWFF for many hours and hard work to improve these programs. Please see the home page on the web site www.tumadmen.org and the 2013 Accomplishment Report under PROJECTS for a complete listing of what was accomplished.
There are a lot activities/events being planned for 2014 but one of the most exciting actions taking place is that we will soon have a new web site. Thanks to Don Dean and the new web administrator and board member Mike Isovitsch for months of work that will provide not only better information related to Mad River but also TU work going on a state and nationwide level.
The Madmen Annual meeting is scheduled for March 16th at the Champaign County Historical Society Museum in Urbana.
Don Boysel has stepped down as president but will stay on as coordinator for monitoring and Mike Greenlee is the current Madmen president. The board is looking into filling the vice president position. We very much appreciate your continued support but the bottom line is that we need more membership involvement in meeting our goals. We hope you will attend and assist with an activity or event in 2014 and start by attending the annual meeting on March 16th . Maybe you will win one of the great raffle prizes? Hope to see you soon!

Best Regards!

Tom Allen Exec. Dir. Madmen Chapter TU and Ohio State Council Chair
