Video spotlight: How to fix your Gore-tex waders

With as much as a good pair of Gore-tex waders costs these days, it pays to do your best to take care of them. But even in the best conditions, waders will eventually fail—water is pretty determined to find its way into even the smallest of holes.

Simms GORE-TEX® Wader Repair

Above, Cameron McDonald from Simms walks you through the fairly simple process of patching the small pinholes that waders tend to accumulate over time, either from walking through bushes or brush, or getting caught on sharp edges around boats or trailers. It's not as tough as you might think. While Simms and other wader-makers will often fix your waders for you for free, this is a great method for taking care of the smallest of holes, and you can do it quickly and relatively painlessly.

Check it out.
