Rainbows were hitting the Adams dry fly tonight on Weber Lake. I have been heading out after supper with my kayak for an hour or two before sunset. The daily temperature has been over 80 degrees for the past week and the trout streams are reaching 70 degrees as well. Give the trout a break if you are on a stream that is over 70.

Today, March 31, 2015, I checked out Saxon Harbor and the ice is out of the bay. There is ice in the boat mooring areas of the harbor and one should be careful to make sure you can return safely to the launch without being blocked by the ice. The past couple of days I have been fishing Weber Lake in Iron County. This rainbow hit a Parachute Adams just before sunset. Surface temp is 58 degrees and a lot of fish are loading up on food on top.

Marion & I fished the White River on Sunday July 6th. The hatch was on and Marion landed a 19 inch brown trout. I was not so successful, but still enjoyed the adventure.
