The Wild Rivers Chapter area has recently experienced some serious storms. The Mouth of the Montreal is over the banks today. Due to the warming trend and the last of the snow melting. The river is about 2 feet higher than Wed. Apr. 13th. What a difference 2 days can make. The April meeting of Wild Rivers Chaper will start with dinner at 6pm and the meeting to follow approximately at 7 pm. The venue is Burgers Bar & Grill in Gile, Wisconsin. Our main speaker is Heather Palmquist, who is currently Iron County's Land Conservation Administrator.

I walked down the hill today to check out the water levels.
I found this interesting rock formation along the lake bank.
Checking with one fisherman he said his buddies landed

Heavy rains followed by substantial snow accumulation makes this Saturday a perfect day to come to the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center.
