Winter has hit the high country, will start up reports again in the spring
Work edge of flats early on in coming tide. Water is crystal clear and warnind up. reds and trout will really start to feed.
Water levels are back up making wading unlikely if not impossible. Cloudy most of the week should have trout eyes looking up.
Getting better! When it drops smallmouth fishing should be hot!
THE RIVER IS RELATIVELY CLEAR AND A GOOD LEVEL (MAYBE A LITTLE HIGH) FOR FISHING. BELOW PLACERVILLE THE ACTION HS BEEN GOOD!
The weather forecast calls for highs in the 60's with possible rain showers. Use caution and think safety in the higher river flows.

The river is on the rise again. and will be for awhile. It is off color and cold up high and blown out down low.
