The PVTU Annual Banquet is coming soon, on April 14. It is our largest fund raising event of the year excepting the occasional EAS or other special need events. We have an incredible range of raffle and auction items as well as door prizes and verbal auction items to offer this year. The Special Raffle will again feature a custom made graphite Sage trout rod by Dan Trela, outfitted with a Sage Spectrum fly reel and Rio line. A Swift River Fly Fishing bamboo fly rod will also be raffled or auctioned. We have a new T&T Zone 5 graphite rod, a TFO Euro nymphing rod and reel, and a Zen Tenkara outfit. Those items are only a fraction of those that will be up for grabs along with many boxes of flies tied by local members. Please do consider coming with a partner or friend. This will be a sit down dinner with numerous raffle items, silent and verbal auctions of mostly fly fishing gear and related items along with fly tying materials. Preview begins at 5:00. Dinner at 7:00. Auctions and raffles afterward. Cash bar available. All proceeds to benefit the chapter's conservation and education work.
