TVTU November Chapter Meeting with Mary Ann Dozer

Please join us on Novemeber 9th in-person or virtually for our monthly TVTU Chapter Meeting. Each month we invite a different memeber from our local and extended community to talk flyfishing, fish, and conservation.  We are pleased this month to have Mary Ann Dozer joining us. 

Mary Ann Dozer was a late bloomer to fly fishing but instantaneously became an avid angler on a trip to Yellowstone Park in 1995.  In 2002 she saw Liz Watson, and Marilyn Vitale casts. Dozer was mesmerized by their loops. From there, she set herself on a path to master fly casting. On that path, she became a fly-fishing guide in 2009.  Dozer has been fortunate to share her knowledge of fly casting with anglers. Since covid, she has been pushing the envelope for Interactive On-Line Fly Fishing Instruction. 

Dozer guides part-time for the Fly Fishers Place in Sisters, Oregon. In the winter, she focus's on increasing the quantity and quality of my Virtual Fly-Fishing Workshops. Dozer has the Master Casting Instructor Certification from FFI and lead the Casting Instructor Outreach Program.  She is a member of the Winston Pro-Staff Team.

Dozer will be presenting on 'The Fundamentals - Excellent Casters Leverage'.
