This river is definitely a place for a expert fisherman.  This river is full of trout, these fish are very well educated.  These fish can be taking sulfurs then the next minute completely ignore them.  This river is not for the weak at heart!

Watauga River

Watauga River is a slow moving river full of massive trout.  Your best bet to catching fish in this river is terrestrial or streamers.  Also you should float the river, because there are limited access for waders.

The government is trying to take away 100,000 acres of trout streams and wildlife habitat in the Cherokee National Forest.

This hatchery delivers fish to 12 rivers in East Tennessee.  The goverment want's to close this hatchery and put in a chemical company a mile down the road.  I think stuff like this should stop!
