When:  Thursday, February 23rd. Program to start at 6:30.  Come around 5:30 to catch up with friends and acquaintances and have dinner and a beer.

Where:  Irish Embassy Pub, downstairs.  Full bar and food service available and Happy Hour prices are honored from 4-7pm.

Program:  Clay Kampf, Fisheries Biologist for the San Juan National Forest Columbine District will give a presentation on the Hermosa Creek Cutthroat Reintroduction Program that has been on-going since the early 1990’s.

An article in the Durango Herald this fall provided a brief overview of the efforts (https://durangoherald.com/articles/109975-hermosa-creek-project-improves-habitat-for-cutthroat-trout). Clay will talk about the history of the project, the work that’s being done, and what the future looks like.
