He readily admits that he had only the vaguest idea of what was involved, and that, starting out, he knew almost nothing about stream restoration. The task of protecting and restoring Red Brook would play out over the course of the next 17 years, concluding with the purchase of the A.D. Makepeace Century Bogs. The removal of four dams, and the protection of the entire length of Red Brook, almost 900 acres of land, was the result of many thousands of TU volunteer hours contributed by TU members from every chapter in the Council. During the process of the Red Brook Project, Warren received an education in the power of the human spirit and the beauty, interconnectedness, and resilience of Nature. "Wild River", his book of poems and prose, grew out of that. 630-700PM Social 700-800PM Speaker & Chapter Update Join Zoom Meetinghttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/82930384305?pwd=bmVqalFDWDErbXdscHYvdWlkTjF6QT09 Meeting ID: 829 3038 4305Passcode: 757439 One tap mobile+16465588656,,82930384305#,,,,*757439# US (New York)+13126266799,,82930384305#,,,,*757439# US (Chicago) Who's attending this event?
