A prolific, aquatic invasive species first discovered in Michigan last year on the Pere Marquette River near Lake Michigan has now been found in the east branch of the Au Sable River near Grayling. There may be plenty of fish in the sea, but two fishermen in the Lanaudière region caught what may be the only Asian carp in the St. Lawrence River last week.
